About me

Yuanliang (Leon) Sun is a graphic designer and visual artist whose work explores a range of themes inspired by his living experiences and observations in both Western and Eastern cultures. With an emphasis on the creative process, his approaches are primarily centered around hands-on visual experiments and the use of digital technology for visual communication.

Leon’s work has been presented and exhibited both nationally and internationally including presentations at AIGA Design Education and the Transnational Terrain Conference in Honolulu, HI, the 4th International Conference on Design Principles and Practices in Chicago, IL, the Tao International Conference on Sustainable Design Strategies in a Globalization Context in Beijing, China, and exhibitions at International Digital Media and Arts Association (iDMAa) Conferences in Washington, DC, Atlanta University Center in Atlanta, GA, Duke University's Power Plant Gallery in Durham, NC, Tianjin Western Art Museum in China, and Czong Institute for Contemporary Art in South Korea.
